About Smt. Meera Tamhankar

Meera Tamhankar learning Kathak from Guru Mrs. Maneesha Sathe for 14 years and is still under her training. She is a Nritya Visharad from the Akhil Baratiya Gandarva Mahavidyalaya. She has performed with Maneesha Nrityalaya's group in various events and competitions in and around Pune, Nasik and all over Maharashtra. She also performed in numerous folk dance programs such as Bhangra, Giddha, Waghya-Murali, Bamboo dance, Lavani, Koli, Dandiya etc. She performed at 'Rutuchakrachi Asharyatra"at the Maharashtra Mandal Atlanta convention in 2005. She has been teaching in the Bay Area since 2005 and many of her students perform at the Maharashtra Mandal GaneshUtsav Celebrations.

About the Dance Classes:

* Dance Classes are taught in San Jose, Santa Clara, Cupertino, Sunnyvale, and Fremont.

* Sunnyvale Classes: Tuesday evening, and Saturday morning

* Fremont Classes: Sunday evening

* Classes are conducted one hour once a week
