This year’s Mahotsav carries forward the rich tradition of honoring Late Shri Madhav Tare, a beacon in the world of Indian classical percussion. A Grand Showcase of Rhythm

The evening begins with a powerful expression of community and coordination as 15 tabla groups take the stage in an ensemble performance. These groups will present complex patterns, such as kaida, rela, tukda, gat, chakradhar, and parans in harmony, showcasing the depth and diversity of the tabla tradition.
