Tabla Niketan is a Tabla training school in Cupertino (Bay Area, California, USA). It was established by Shri Madhusudan alias Satish Tare. Tabla Niketan has been imparting quality training in playing Tabla to students of various age groups. Today, Tabla Niketan is the most recognized Tabla class in Bay Area (San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Milpitas, Fremont, Pleasanton, Dublin).

Students of Tabla Niketan are immensely benefited because of the quality of training and the atmosphere of “Guru-Shishya” tradition that Tabla Niketan offers.   • The Humble Beginning

    Tabla Niketan is an example of how one man’s passion can make a constructive difference to the lives of many people. When Shri. Satish Tare discovered the joys of playing Tabla, he couldn’t remain content with just playing it. He wanted others to explore the fascinating art of playing Tabla. He decided to start a Tabla school in Cupertino (Bay Area, California), and thus, “Tabla Niketan” was born !

  • The Growth

    Tabla Niketan was soon joined by a few enthusiasts who were looking for Tabla teacher in and around Bay area (most of them from San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Milpitas, Fremont, Pleasanton, Dublin etc) .
